Each year, a  carefully selected committee evaluates nominations from the Community and fellow firefighters to identify an individual deserving of this prestigious honor. Inductees are chosen based on their significant impact on the Cumberland County and North Carolina fire service, exceptional acts of heroism, innovation, and advancement in firefighting techniques, as well as their commitment to training and mentorship.
